Fire crews tackle engine blaze in Dawley Bank

Firefighters were called to a car fire in Dawley Bank late Monday afternoon.

One crew from Telford Central arrived at the scene at 16:56. The fire was located within the engine compartment of the vehicle.

Crews used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames. A thermal imaging camera was also deployed to check for any remaining hotspots.

The incident was dealt with quickly. No injuries have been reported.
