Telford manufacturer Magiboards Limited enters liquidation

Magiboards Limited, manufacturer of whiteboards and noticeboards, has ceased trading and entered voluntary liquidation. The company, based on Stafford Park in Telford, filed a statement of affairs on 26 January 2026.

The documents show the business has an estimated total debt of £337,901. This figure includes money owed to various creditors across the region and beyond.

Among the debts listed is £34,081 owed to HM Revenue and Customs. Trade and expense creditors are owed a combined total of £238,025.

Telford & Wrekin Council is among those waiting for payment, with a debt of £26,307 recorded. Other local firms listed as creditors include Shropshire Chamber of Commerce and several businesses based at Stafford Park and Halesfield.

The firm employed around 18 members of staff according to accounts published in 2024, and the website states that company started in 1966.

In a statement of truth signed on 26 January, director Erwin Stap said: “I believe that the facts stated in this Statement of Affairs are true”.

The company’s remaining assets, including stock, plant, and machinery, have been valued by independent agents. Liquidators Helen Whitehouse and Simon Thomas Barriball of McAlister & Co have been appointed to oversee the process.
