Fire crews involved in pub lockout

A fire crew from Tweedale was called out to a Lawley Bank pub yesterday following a request for assistance from staff.

While many would have welcomed a lock-in back in the day the team from Tweedale were called because the the staff had locked themselves out shortly before midday on Thursday.

A single appliance was sent to the scene of The Wrekin View, located off Milners Lane. Upon arrival, the crew found that staff required help to gain access to the building.

Firefighters used small gear to effect entry to the property.
