Telford man fined after being caught with cocaine
A Donnington man has been ordered to pay more than £650 in fines and costs after being caught in possession of Class A drugs late last year.
Cannon Singfield, 21, appeared before Telford Magistrates’ Court on 5 March 2026 to face a single charge of possessing a controlled drug.
The court heard that on 13 December 2025, Singfield was found in Telford in possession of nine 0.5g bags of cocaine.
The discovery led to his arrest and subsequent charge under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. Singfield, of St. Matthews Road, entered a guilty plea during the first hearing of the case.
Magistrates took his early guilty plea into account when delivering the sentence. Singfield was issued a fine of £500 and ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
