VA Technology announces 30 new jobs as part of major growth plan
VA Technology is preparing for an exciting period of expansion and is launching a recruitment drive to fill 30 new roles across its manufacturing team.
The company is looking for fabricators, mechanical fitters and electrical fitters to join its growing workforce as it gears up for increased demand over 2026 and 2027. VA Technology is also recruiting for field service positions and commissioning, test & validation specialists.
These new roles will join the company’s 185 employees based in Telford. This investment in new jobs reflects the company’s strong growth forecasts and its long-term commitment to developing advanced investment casting shellroom equipment used in industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical implants and art foundries.
James Clarkson, Director: Sales, explained that the next few years will bring significant growth for VA Technology.“Foundries are looking to update/expand their shellroom systems to add additional capacity and are looking for new, automated solutions like our Shellmaker® systems.
“We are forecasting significant growth over the next few years and need to set the foundations for this by further strengthening our team and infrastructure,” he said.
For VA Technology, people are at the heart of this progress. The company has built its reputation over 38 years by keeping key processes in-house and relying on the skill and dedication of its team.
“Our success has always come from our people,” said Rebecca Cooper, Director: Operations. “We’re a multi-disciplinary business with talented teams in both UK, US & China, and we’re proud to be creating new opportunities here in the Telford & Wrekin area. This is a pivotal moment for us, and we’re committed to being a strong, supportive employer as we continue to grow.”
The company’s commitment to nurturing future talent further strengthens these opportunities. Through its long-standing partnership with In-Comm Training, VA Technology supports Level 3 and HNC Level 4 apprentices, providing structured development across disciplines such as fitting, turning, milling, welding, electrical work, CNC machining, CAD and fluid power. This collaboration demonstrates the company’s dedication to building a skilled workforce and supporting the long-term growth of the industry.
