Rowing challenge starts today

Four intrepid rowers, Richard Greaves, Martin Skehan, Rob Sowden and Dave Williams, have challenged themselves with Rowing Seven Marathons in Seven Days on Concept 2 rowing machines.

Recently a close family member of Martin’s was diagnosed with MND, in support of Andrew and in memory of good friend Chris Perry, Martin was inspired by the recent efforts of Kevin Sinfield and others, who ran seven marathons in seven days in support of Motor Neurone Disease Charities.

Other rowers across the indoor rowing community are supporting the challenge, including Mark Betts and Jess Harvey who are rowing their own challenge distances.

12th to 15th May: McPhillips

16th May: Shrewsbury Square

17th May: Wellington
