Surprise closure of Telford pub & restaurant

Many customers of a popular Telford pub had a surprise email this afternoon informing them that the pub was closing in less than two weeks time.

The Clock Tower in Donnington is currently owned by Whitbread and runs under the Brewers Fayre brand.

In 2024 a number of Brewers Fayre pubs were sold off, but the Clock Tower was not part of that disposal.

It’s not known what is in store for the pub when it closes on 14th June, no reopening date has been made public.

Brewers Fayre have been asked for a comment.
