Investment promise for Telford Pub & Hotel
The new owners of the Clock Tower and adjoining former Premier Inn in Telford have now announced their plans.
Hospitality group Charter Hotels & Bars are renaming the hotel “Charter Hotel Telford ” and say that they have the vision of delivering “Affordable Stays, Unforgettable Experiences”.
The new owners told Telford-Live “We’ve put together a phased investment plan to ensure we deliver lasting improvements while minimizing disruption to the retained staff, the site and guests.
“Our plan is already underway, beginning with the introduction of new menus, updated bar plans, refreshed product offerings, improved operational systems, and staff training to support a higher standard of service.”
Starting next week, the next phase of works starts, including essential maintenance, painting, and decorating throughout the property. Once this is complete, they will proceed with new signage installation to refresh the site externally. Following these updates, their design team will “step in to create a cohesive interior concept that aligns with our brand and the sites location. This is part of a wider investment strategy focused on delivering lasting improvements for both our guests and the local community.”
Director Sukhjit Kaur said “We want this to feel like a place where locals feel proud to gather and guests to feel instantly welcome. It’s all about comfort, community, and creating memorable experiences for everyone who walks through the door.”
The Brewers Fayre Clock Tower and adjoining Premier Inn were sold last month.
