Unlicenced, uninsured and unsafe.
A Madeley woman fell foul of the law and had her Nissan Micra seized.
At 8.30pm on Thursday, officers from the South Telford Safer Neighbourhood Team attended a report of children travelling in a vehicle without a car seat.
The officers spoke with the driver and it was established that not only was her six year old child not in a car seat, but the driver only held a provisional driving licence and in addition, had no insurance.
Police then seized the Micra and reported the driver for her offences which included failing to secure a child in an appropriate child restraint.
Children must use the correct car seat until they reach 135cm tall or their 12th birthday
