Kandys closed, warn homeowners

It’s the stuff of folklaw and fable, and unlike the Glory Hole down the road, I’m not even sure it actually existed until day.

Kandys was, well let’s say, an adult entertainment venue here in sleepy Telford. I thought it was just hearsay until I dug up a headline from Shropshire Star Facebook page “A row over cocaine led to brawl at Telford brothel”. The link leads to a dead end unfortunately. I would have paid £6.99 for that.

Apparently, another run in with police was not too far behind when the place was the site of a grow.

Roll on a few years, and Kandys is no more. While the Glory Hole had a rebrand, Kandys closed down. It’s now a private dwelling and the home owners have taken action to prevent sightseers/former customers/ new customers from knocking on the door.

I’d go down and ask for an interview, but I may get papped and that’s a photo I wouldn’t want to have to explain to Mrs Live.
