Club seeks new players

A new female football pathway at Nova United FC, one of Shropshire’s most respected grassroots clubs, is already making strides with its Under-13 Girls team, which recently secured a win in their first friendly match. The creation of the team marks a significant step in developing girls’ football in the area.

After a busy off-season of open training sessions and trials, the club has laid the foundations of a strong, competitive squad. Nova United’s ethos centres on a friendly and fun environment, where players can develop new skills, build confidence, and grow within a supportive group. It’s a great way for young players to stay active, build friendships, and enjoy the game.

As a Nike Partner Club, Nova United provides training and match kits, supported by team fundraising and local business sponsorship. Coaches Mark Harden and Ian Mansell bring a wealth of experience, committed to high-quality coaching as the team prepares for the upcoming season in the Shropshire FA Girls League.

Nova United FC is now inviting new players to join their Under-13 Girls team for the 2025/26 season. The club is specifically seeking a defender and a central midfielder, though all outfield positions will be considered. If you think your daughter would thrive in a forward-thinking, ambitious team, the club would like to hear from you.
