New Segway adventure trail in Town Park

Telford Town Park, our award-winning green space celebrated for its expansive landscapes and vibrant woodland trails, is now home to a fun new activity.

The Telford Bike Hub, a gateway to exploration, well-being, and active travel, has introduced Segway group sessions, offering a fresh way to experience the park’s tranquil and traffic-free setting.

Up to six people can now join these brand new one-hour Segway adventures. Participants receive full training from an expert instructor before heading out to enjoy the thrill of the dedicated Segway tracks. It’s a fun, safe, and exciting way to kickstart your summer adventures in the heart of the town.

Beyond the new Segway experience, the Bike Hub continues to offer a variety of ways to enjoy the park. Adaptive bikes are available for those with physical disabilities, providing a supported way to explore, connect, and cycle. Around 20 purpose-built cycles support a wide range of physical and sensory needs, and carers can ride for free.

The Bike Hub operates six days a week, with a hire service available Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 4:30 pm (last hire at 3 pm). Helmets, locks, and route maps are included with every booking, and it’s card payment only with no advance booking required for bike hire.
