Donny Bonny returns for 2025

The banners have gone up, and the annual Mammoth Donnington bonfire and fireworks display is set to return for another year of fire, funfair and wholesome family entertainment. 

The date for the 2025 event has been confirmed as Saturday 8th November, on the Broad Oaks Playing Fields in Donnington.

The Telford institution, known locally as the ‘Donny Bonny’, has a long history and is a highlight on the calendar for many Telford residents. 

The Mitchells work hard to ensure the show is a success, continuing the community tradition that has been a rite of passage for decades.

Gates are expected to open in the afternoon, with fairground rides and food stalls to keep everyone entertained.  The bonfire is typically lit later in the evening, followed by the fireworks display.

It’s just £3 to get in, but try and leave your car at home.
