Rewriting the rules of leadership for women in business
A marketing agency director will be exploring ways of ‘rewriting the rules of leadership’ as a woman in business at Shropshire Chamber of Commerce’s next Network of Women event
Amelia Redge from Shrewsbury-based Reech will be the guest speaker at the meeting on September 17 at Stockton House, in Norton, near Shifnal. The meeting starts at 11am.
Kelly Riedel, the Chamber’s head of member success, said: “Amelia will be sharing her own experiences and giving an insight into how her career has progressed so far, and how our delegates can use her advice to benefit their own professional lives.
“She will be reflecting on her route to the top, from high-pressure roles in London and Birmingham to joining Reech initially as head of growth and marketing, then at director-level in just 12 months.
“Amelia will be speaking candidly about overcoming imposter syndrome, building influence, and staying resilient while pushing boundaries.”
A firm believer in opening doors for others, Amelia says she will share how she’s advocating for a people-first agency. This has seen her help shape Reech’s dynamic – where 50% of the senior leadership team are women.
Kelly said the Network of Women was all about creating a relaxed group where women could connect and forge mutually beneficial relationships with like-minded individuals from across the region.
