The Telford bus stops that are stopping people in their tracks
It’s a headline that I never thought I’d be writing, but a tip off and a chance find, led me to a couple of bus stops that were impressive.
The first one on Randlay has been painted recently to commemorate armistice day, with poppies, soldiers and ‘Lest we Forget’ on the back wall, all on a Union Flag background.
The second, in Coalbrookdale is also spectacular. Residents have turned it into a mini beach scene, with knitted bunting, sandcastle and bucket and spade.

It doesn’t stop there. In the corner of the shelter, is a Punch & Judy stand. Mr Punch captured in wool, mid-performance, with a crocodile and a string of sausages.

No seaside scene would be complete with a few seagulls nicking your chips, so here they are, recreated in wool.

Well worth a visit. All credit to the creative minds and hands behind these installations.
These paintings are fantastic. And bring a smile every time, Randley
