Lucky Telford bingo player wins big

A bingo player in Donnington is celebrating after winning a £50,160 jackpot. The lucky winner, who has chosen to remain anonymous, was persuaded to go to The Globe Bingo Hall by her daughter for an early birthday treat.

The player hadn’t planned to go out but decided to attend a free session on Saturday, 7th September, upgrading her tickets for a few pounds. She ended up with a life-changing win.

“Things like this don’t happen to people like me… but it did!” the winner said.

She plans to use the money for a much-needed holiday, her first in years, before her children get their hands on the rest of the money.

To celebrate, the Donnington hall is holding a special event on Saturday, 4th October, where everyone over 18 is invited. The night will include complimentary bubbly, three £500 houses, and a free National Game ticket for all guests. The price for a ticket is £10.
