Buildwas Apple Day to be held at Abbey Manor
The second annual Buildwas Apple Day is to be held at Abbey Manor this Sunday, 28th September. The 2025 Buildwas Apple Day event follows a successful event in 2024, which saw more than 200 attendees and the Manor fully packed with stalls and entertainment.
This year’s Apple Day runs from 10:30am to 4:00pm, and will feature a range of traders as well as entertainment from the Ironmen Severn Gilders Morris Dancers and the Shropshire Sharpshins. Alongside the entertainment and stalls will be a Cider Bar, serving cider made from last year’s Apple Day pressings, and Chef In A Box providing a range of delicious food options.
Visitors to the event can bring along a carrier bag of apples to be pressed by volunteers, and will recieve a small bottle of fresh Apple Juice in return. The Millenium Apple Press will be in use on the day.
Tickets are £3 for adults, £2 for seniors, under 16s go free, and dogs are welcome but must be kept on-lead.
