Bat Out of Hell: The Musical comes to cinemas this Halloween

A chance to go batty is being offered to rock music fans this Hallowe’en as cinemas prepare to screen a new musical.

Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf’s explosive rock opera Bat Out of Hell: The Musical will roar onto cinema screens across the country.

The West End stage sensation will be shown at Wellington Orbit, alongside hundreds of other venues nationwide.

The one-off cinema event launches on Thursday, 30 October, giving fans a chance to see the show on the big screen for the very first time.

The production captures the dystopian world of Obsidian, where a rebellious gang called The Lost can never grow old.

At the heart of the story is the fiery love affair between their leader, Strat, and Raven, the daughter of the city’s tyrannical ruler, Falco.

Audiences can expect a full-throttle spectacle as an eight-piece rock band bring some of Meat Loaf’s greatest hits to life, including I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That), Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad, Paradise by the Dashboard Light, Dead Ringer for Love, and the title track Bat Out of Hell.

With stunning multi-level staging, and new production elements that transport audiences from a bedroom to the rebellious underground world of The Lost, this is an opportunity to find out why Bat Out Of Hell has been such a hit across the world.
