Apley Christmas market gearing up to be best yet
A popular Christmas market is set to return this month – with a record number of stall holders and a special guest appearance from Santa himself.
The Christmas Market at Apley Farm Shop will be bigger and better than ever on November 22 and 23 and there will also be the opportunity to meet Santa in his grotto or have breakfast with him on other dates throughout the next two months.
More than 30 local stall holders will be at the market selling handmade gifts, crafts, food and more, with turkey baps provided by the Farm Shop.
Linda Harris, Business Development Manager at Apley, said: “We are very excited to not only have our festive market back this year, but for it to be the biggest yet.
“Some of the stalls under the canopy in our courtyard will be there for the first time, with the biggest range of unique gifts we’ve ever had on offer, from holly to hampers, cakes to candles, mince pies to mistletoe – and our resident independent shops will be open as well.
“It’s a great chance to get into the festive spirit and find all you need to prepare for Christmas – but if you want to have more magical fun than the two days of the market then we are also offering a breakfast with Santa or a visit to his grotto too.
“We look forward to welcoming you!”
Santa’s Grotto will be open every weekend from November 22 as well as December 23 and 24. The cozy, magical hideaway will give children the unforgettable opportunity to meet Santa, share their Christmas wishes and receive a special gift from the North Pole.
For early risers, children can have breakfast with Santa at Apley Farm Shop on any Saturday or Sunday from December 6 to 21, before heading over to his workshop and grotto to continue the Christmas magic with a gift and entrance to the Playbarn on the site.
Choose from a hot, cooked breakfast or continental option and spaces are limited, so guests are urged to book early to avoid disappointment.
