Head-on crash between a car and a van

Emergency services were called to the Much Wenlock Road in Buildwas this morning following a head-on collision between a car and a van.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) received the call at 11:31 on Thursday, 13 November.

One fire appliance from Telford Central fire station was mobilised to the scene.

Police were already in attendance at the incident.

A spokesperson for SFRS confirmed the collision involved one car and one van in a head-on crash.

Fortunately, no persons were trapped or injured.

Fire crews worked to make both vehicles electrically safe before leaving the scene in the hands of the police.

The stop message was received just before noon, at 11:58.
