Local choir and children’s book author welcome Santa
Kick off Christmas in style at Dobbies Garden Centre Telford with Santa’s Arrival, a free-to-attend event taking place on Sunday 23 November at 11am. Families and friends are invited to join in the fun and create unforgettable memories as Santa makes his grand entrance for the start of the festive events season.
Santa will receive a warm welcome from the community, with local groups including Hadley Orpheus Male Choir to provide entertainment, and local author, Dr Tadzio Jodlowski, will host a reading from the children’s book he has written and illustrated himself. In addition to the fun, families can get a head start on their Christmas shopping with access to seasonal discounts and an exclusive one-day-only discount voucher to spend in store.
Customers can also enjoy hearty meals and tasty treats from the seasonal menu in the restaurant, including great value children’s options and a wide range of festive delights, from the Luxury Mince Pie Tart to indulgent limited-edition lattes.
Santa’s Arrival marks the official opening of Santa’s Grotto experiences for 2025, with spaces available to book now. Dobbies has a packed schedule of festive events for the whole family to enjoy that includes Santa’s Breakfast and Santa Paws, plus, this year’s Christmas Shopping Night, which takes place on Thursday 27 November, in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK.
