Speed dating business wins award
A Shropshire-based singles events company is celebrating a standout year after winning two awards for Best Event Business in Shropshire.
They have sold more than 1,500 tickets across 24 events and are responsible for countless new relationships and friendships in the area.
Speed Dating Shropshire has built a strong local following across Telford and Shrewsbury offering face-to-face social events for single people which include comedy nights, discos, quizzes, Traitors for Daters, karaoke and speed dating evenings.
They have just announced two speed dating events taking place at Haughton Hall in Shifnal in the new year with plans for a valentines party at The Mercure in Telford.
Business Owner Pixie says ‘People are enjoying having an alternative to online dating. It’s not just about finding love, many friendships have begun as a result of people attending the various events’.
In only a few days time, they’re bringing even more people together for Shropshire’s only New Year’s party exclusively for single people at Albrighton Hall. ‘This event is for people of all ages and as long as you’re single you’re welcome’
Pixie continued ‘New Year can be a tricky time to be single either surrounded by couples or alternatively facing a New Year on your own. This event gives single people alternative options’.
