Two vehicle crash blocks Telford road this morning

Emergency services were called to a collision involving two vehicles on Hadley Park Road in Telford earlier today.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received the call at 9.25am on Tuesday morning. One fire appliance was sent to the scene from the Wellington station to assist.

Crews found that nobody was trapped inside the vehicles. Firefighters used small gear to make both cars electrically safe.

The incident caused disruption as one side of the road was blocked. Highways Agency staff were called to clear oil and debris from the carriageway.

West Mercia Police also attended the scene to manage traffic. A stop message was received by fire control at 9.50am.
