RBSL opens applications for 2026 apprenticeship intake
Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land (RBSL) has officially opened applications for its 2026 apprenticeship programme.
The company is based at its advanced manufacturing facility in Telford. This year, the firm is looking for local talent to fill several key roles.
Available apprenticeships include Business Administration, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineer Fitter, and Project Management.
For 2026, RBSL has also introduced a new pathway. Applicants can now apply to become a Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Technician.
The programme aims to strengthen the region’s skills in high-value manufacturing and defence engineering. Apprentices will work on major programmes that support the British Army and UK defence.
Laura Trindle, RBSL’s Learning and Development Manager, said: “Our apprentices are a vital part of our future workforce. Through our 2026 programme, we’re offering ambitious individuals the opportunity to develop valuable technical and professional skills in a supportive, high-performance environment.”
She added: “Whether in engineering, project management or our new Safety, Health & Environment pathway, apprentices at RBSL will contribute to meaningful work from the very start of their careers.”
Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience while studying for nationally recognised qualifications.
Applications are now open. Interested individuals can find out more and apply via the Rheinmetall job portal
