Tickets Launched for Night Time at the Zoo
Telford Zoo urges locals to buy tickets for their big summer event to support them through the winter months.
Exotic Zoo, part of Telford Town Park, has announced the return of its evening music concert this summer. Night Time at the Zoo is a family-friendly after-hours experience at Exotic Zoo with live music, food and drinks, where you can party alongside the zoo’s nocturnal animals.
This is the second time the zoo has run the event, after a successful concert last year. The team are busy signing up local acts for the stage lineup for the event on Saturday, May 23rd.
Scott Adams, managing director at Exotic Zoo, said, “We’ve launched early bird tickets now, not just as a way for our customers to get great value tickets, but to help our small zoo get through the winter months.
“At this time of year, our overheads are at an all-time high – we need to keep our animals fed, warm and looked after by our brilliant team, but our visitor income stream dries up.
“It’s a really tough challenge to balance the books during a cost-of-living crisis, so we would love it if locals could buy their Night Time at the Zoo tickets now to help support us.
“See the zoo in a whole new light as our nocturnal animals begin to wake up. We’ll have some brilliant local acts, a BBQ, food stalls, a licensed bar, refreshments in the Jungle Cafe, stalls, face painting and family entertainment. All ages are welcome, so enjoy a night out with friends or family with our zoo animals.
“It will be a night like no other in Shropshire, so don’t miss out!”
Night Time at the Zoo is taking place on Saturday, May 23rd, from 5pm to 10pm. Early bird tickets are £15 for adults, £10 for children (plus booking fees), and under 2’s go free. Limited early bird tickets have been released and are available at www.exoticzoo.co.uk/pages/night-time-at-the-zoo
