Shropshire Electrical Supplies Ltd begins winding up process
A Telford-based independent electrical wholesaler with great reviews has entered voluntary liquidation. Shropshire Electrical Supplies Ltd filed a notice of statement of affairs earlier this month. The company employed three members of staff at the time of closing.
The firm was first incorporated in 2021, and had enjoyed great reviews on Yell, Google and Facebook with one commenting “It is probably an over used expression “Going the Extra Mile” but the guys at Shropshire Electrical certainly did that for me, nothing was too much trouble.”
Records show the company faces a total deficiency of £336,289. The business has assets estimated to realise £4,796, including plant and equipment.
The list of creditors includes several government bodies and local firms. HM Revenue and Customs is owed a total of £46,988 across VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax.
The largest single trade debt is £123,103 owed to an electrical distributor.
Tauseef Rashid of Qimzen Advisory has been appointed as the liquidator. The premises are now up for lease through WLT Commercial Property
