Hockerhill Adventure Playbarn marks second birthday with £2 entry deal
The special offer, running on Wednesday 11 March, represents a significant reduction on standard ticket prices, which usually start from £7.50 for adults and £8.50 for children. Toddler tickets, typically priced at £5, will also be included in the flat £2 rate.
The birthday event will feature a guest appearance from Toy Story’s Jessie. The character is scheduled to host a meet-and-greet session alongside songs and dancing to mark the milestone.
Tessa Giffard, co-founder of Hockerhill Adventure Playbarn and custodian of Chillington Hall and Estate, said: “Celebrating two years of Hockerhill is a huge milestone and to thank our very loyal guests, we’re excited to offer £2 entry to all visitors on our birthday so everyone can take part in the celebrations.
“Over the past two years, we have created an engaged and cherished fan base which has continued to support us as a family attraction and helped us shape an experience that visitors love to be involved with.”
The celebrations continue later in the week. On Sunday 15 March, the venue will host a Mother’s Day event featuring ‘Glinda The Good’ from the musical Wicked, who will be performing songs from the show.
The facility, known for its large indoor mock oak tree inspired by the Royal Oak at Boscobel House, includes bridges, slides, and a pedal go-kart track. Outdoor areas feature zip lines and a sand pit.

The venue has also confirmed the launch of a new spring menu in its café, which includes a range of brunch options, sourdough pizzas, and dietary-specific choices.
