Turntable theft adds to woman’s criminal record.

The court heard how the offences took place between September and October last year. During a trip to Shrewsbury on 9 September, Stevenson stole a turntable worth £99.99 from HMV and over £300 worth of clothes and underwear from H&M.

She then focused on stores in Wellington throughout the rest of the month. On three separate occasions, she took hair care products, razors, Lynx, and fake tan from Boots.

Police investigate reported Christmas Eve rape in Ironbridge

Detectives have launched an investigation after a report that a woman was raped in a forest area near Castle Green Cemetery off Lincoln Hill in Ironbridge on Christmas Eve.

Police are now looking to identify a man they believe is the suspect. He is described as white, around 5ft 10in tall, with short dark hair. He was wearing dark jeans and a black coat at the time of the incident.

Arleston drug dealer jailed after guilty plea

Stefan Farmer, of Arleston Avenue in Arleston, Telford was given a two-year prison sentence.

A search of his property revealed a quantity of cannabis buds in an outbuilding, all vacuum packed and sealed, ready to be sold.

Officers also discovered scales, zip-bags and £50,000 in cash, all linked to drugs supply.

Telford man left partner with black eyes, a split lip and bruising

Connor Buchanan, of Wallett Drive in Muxton, was sentenced on Friday (9 January) at Shrewsbury Crown Court after he previously admitted aggravated bodily harm, criminal damage and three counts of intentional strangulation.

Buchanan had been convicted of similar offences previously, and was sentenced to five years in 2022.
