Read moreThe Wrekin Giant pub has welcomed customers back after a refurbishment that cost a six-figure sum. Located in Southwater Square, the Hungry Horse pub has new furniture, lighting, and décor.
To celebrate the reopening, the pub invited the mental health group Primal Instincts to cut the ribbon. The group, founded in 2023, gives men safe spaces to discuss their mental health. The pub also made a donation to the group to support its community efforts.

Licensing policies have to be reviewed every five years and set out the rules Telford & Wrekin Council has on who can hold a booze licence, which premises can be used to sell intoxicating liquors, and the granting of permits for music and other events.
