Telford man left partner with black eyes, a split lip and bruising

Connor Buchanan, of Wallett Drive in Muxton, was sentenced on Friday (9 January) at Shrewsbury Crown Court after he previously admitted aggravated bodily harm, criminal damage and three counts of intentional strangulation.

Buchanan had been convicted of similar offences previously, and was sentenced to five years in 2022.

Four arrested during Telford pub immigration raid

Four individuals were arrested for immigration offences during the visit on 17 December. The group included two Indian nationals and two Nepalese nationals.

£100,000 Drugs raid arrest

A man has been arrested after an estimated £100,000 worth of class A drugs was discovered. 

The arrest was made yesterday morning (Thursday 4 December) by Telford Central SNT at an address on Jim Hicks Drive in Stirchley. 

Officers discovered a large quantity of class A, and class B drugs. It is estimated the class A drugs hold a street value of around £100,000.

Pedestrian involved in supermarket car park collision

A large Police response at a Telford supermarket this afternoon. Multiple police vehicles and personnel were on scene at Farmfoods in Ketley in Telford.

Police have said that “Following a report received around 3pm this afternoon (27 November), officers are currently at the scene of a collision between a pedestrian and car within a car park off Holyhead Road in Telford.”
