The father and son team far exceeded their fundraising target of £1,000 – the average cost of a grant awarded by Children Today towards specialist equipment, such as adapted trikes, specialist car seats and powered wheelchairs.
A father and son from Telford recently took on a 30-mile charity walk in aid of Children Today Charitable Trust, raising over £1,600 for the children’s disability charity.

Kai Ginifer, who has been with McPhillips for two years, was named Most Promising Apprentice 2025 at the CECA West Midlands Awards.
He was handed his award by Sean McCormick, a former McPhillips apprentice and employee, making the occasion even more special for the young groundworker.
