I doubt it was anywhere near 64p a gallon. firstly we had LSD then so probably 6s4d (*about 32p now) it went up to 50p a gallon about 1973/74
spot on but it was still there after 75 as i came to telford in Decm 74 and use the garage with a mate in 76or 77 Jack kelly run it i think his son was called Waynne
