No Brexit Party to vote for in Telford or The Wrekin

Both Elaine Adams and Dr Christian Lucas have stood down in Telford and The Wrekin.

Elaine Adams stood aside yesterday. Today, in light of Nigel Farages announcement, Dr Lucas told Telford Live he was ‘bitterly disappointed’ not to be contesting the seat.

    • It’s all about bums on seats as a result of the first past the post system. There is a risk that by taking the votes away from the Tories you will end up with a hung parliament, or not leaving the EU at all if the lib dems or labour take the seat. Your best bet is to vote Tories to keep the marxist remainer Corbyn out. Nigel has done the right thing given the current situation for Brexit, put the country first over a desire to stand everywhere and damage the chance of leaving. He will still be holding Boris to account in places where he is standing.
