30 mins to get through Shifnal
Temporary traffic lights in Victoria Road are creating a bottleneck in Shifnal.
The Severn Trent works are causing delays of up to 30 minutes to get from one end of town to the other.
Commuter Rebekah Finch took this photo showing the queue of traffic from the Wolverhampton direction.
There is some good news though. According to Shropshire Council, the works will be completed on Monday.
Or has the queue to pay at the town centre car park got really out of hand?

Thanks for the update. It must be terrible for commuters and residents in the area. I drove in yesterday and the surrounding roads are also rammed with trying to find alternative routes.

Are the lights being manually operated at peek times if not they should be
Just accept a small inconvenience for a few days! Seen so many people moaning about it. Leave earlier and plan for it. Noone has any concept of patience these days, sometimes essential works have to be done!
