Low priced stores Home Bargains and Poundland are all set to open improved shops in Telford, next Saturday 29th August.
Poundland is building on its roots in the town by moving to a new site with more than 50 per cent of additional space, allowing it to offer an even wider range of items.
The new store at Sherwood Street in Telford Shopping Centre replaces the smaller existing store in the centre.
The premises were formerly occupied by Yours Clothing and the new Poundland will include an expanded PEP&CO shop-in-shop offering kidswear and clothes for mum and dad as well as the new PEP&CO Home range.
It will employ 27 colleagues, compared to 19 at the existing store and occupies more than 7,900 sq ft of space, up from 5,047 sq ft.
Home Bargains on Wrekin Retail Park has been completely refurbished and enlarged to allow an even bigger range of food and homeware.
