Well this one did, and got handsomely rewarded by a grateful passenger.
Mr Nobkaht who works for GoCarz found the phone after dropping his fare off in Wolverhampton last week.
They tracked the owner down and managed to reunite them with the dropped device. These days phones are used less for calls than they are for accessing essential online services and leaving badly spelled comments on Facebook posts from Telford Live.
A card with a £40 inside was passed via the booking office to Mr Nobkhat as a reward.
