Team Poundie is a charity which was started in 2017 by a group of friends who wanted to help get dogs out of the Pound, hence the the name Team Poundie.

Since then the charity has been helping to keep dogs with their families by helping with food, vet bills and also with neutering. The shop was opened in 2019 and our fundraising has gone from strength to strength with our supporters increasing massively. Obviously social media has helped.

The staff are all unpaid volunteers wanting to help dogs and also help people rehome their dogs by carrying out home checks on potential adopters and arranging meet and greets with the dogs.
