100th customer for Telford new business

Amigos Dog Grooming which started earlier this year is celebrating their 100th dog through their door this week.

The business was set up in January by Telford entrepreneur, Colleen Powell, and is based in Trench.  It was initially a self-service dog wash, but expanded to offer grooming by experienced technician Sian.

This week they greeted Astrid to their location, the 100th dog to pass through their doors.

Colleen told Telford Live “We chose the name Amigo’s in memory of our sweet dog who sadly passed away in 2024. He was a rescue from Hillbrae & we had him for 12 years. He was a loyal lad & is missed everyday.

“Our daughter Mylee (10) has always loved  animals, when she’s not at school she will play a big part in the running of amigos. When she leaves school it’ll be her business.”
