Enforcement issued against Malinslee resident
An enforcement notice has been issued to the occupier of a terraced house in Malinslee, Telford, following a complaint about alleged untidy land and unauthorised storage of vehicles.
The Enforcement Notice was served on the 1st of July, for it to take effect on 1st of August 2025.
Looking back at Google Street View, the problem seems to have escalated since 2009, with a bus appearing by 2022. As of today, the bus has changed position but still look like a scrap vehicle.

According to Telford & Wrekin Council Planning Enforcement Policy from 2015, this kind of enforcement falls into Category C, the lowest priority of council enforcement team, but still can carry serious consequences if the notice is not complied with, or ignored. Failure to comply is a criminal offence, and can lead to prosecution in the Magistrates’ Court and a maximum fine of £1,000.
The occupier can lodge an appeal with the Magistrates Court if they consider the notice incorrect.
Would you have complained if you had a property like this in your street?
Unless something owned by the resident was blocking my access or ability to use the pavement I wouldn’t interfere.
If I were trying to sell my privately owned property and it was having a detrimental effect on the sale and putting off potential purchasers, I may well have a different opinion.
If there are dangers to the public then quite rightly, something must be done.
I don’t care what anyone else does to be fair as long as there civil people and not horrible in this day and age if you got that your lucky … I say it as it is ..so would go to them direct if I had any issues but that’s just me ..if there half right people I’m sure they would come to some sort of something even if just a tidy up and so on..
I live next door to someone like this piles of rubbish covering front garden, all dustbins overflowing, on bin day will put out extra 7 or 8 black bags of rubbish. The bins stink in this hot weather covered in maggots not nice. Back garden been turned over to dog yard, dog lives in back garden 24/7. Back garden full of feaces, smell disgusting is very unpleasant unable to sit outside because of it in my garden. The arguments and language bad. Complained was told their word against mine and denied everything, so nothing can be done as refused council entry to property and they cannot prove it. Chose to believe her inspite of photo evidence and situation is now even worse.
