Transformer travels through Telford

People lined the bridges along the M54 to check out the 300 tonne transformer on its way to the site of the old Ironbridge Power Station today.

It was running around 30 minutes behind when it arrived at Junction 7 of the M54 with its police motorcycle escort.

It then turned toward Atcham on the old A5 before turning off towards Wroxeter, Buildwas and onto the bridge in front of the power station.
