Man hospitalised after e-bike collision
West Mercia Police have issued an update following the incident on Brookside.
A man was taken to hospital following a single-vehicle collision involving an e-bike on a road in Telford.
The incident on Brookside Avenue happened at around 2:30pm on Friday, with police officers on the scene providing immediate first aid to the rider.
Paramedics later arrived and transported the man to hospital.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
At the time of the incident, local police were already carrying out a separate operation in the area to combat anti-social behaviour linked to off-road motorbikes.
Due to the officers’ presence at the scene, the incident has been referred to the force’s professional standards department, which is standard procedure.
