Incredible railway bridge mural in Wellington

The railway bridge on Church Street in Wellington has been painted with a poppy design, just in time for remembrance day.

The work by artist Neil Willis has been completed over a few days and in the style we have seen before in the bus shelters he has painted on Randlay and Hollinswood in Telford.

With the Wrekin and the Ercall in the background, a field of poppies in their shadow, and servicemen and women at either end of the bridge linked with the words ‘Wellington Remembers’, people are stopping in their tracks to take it in and take photos.

Should we have more of this in Telford?
