Eager Black Friday Shoppers hit Forge Retail Park

Eager Black Friday Shoppers hit Forge Retail Park

Currys PC World on The Forge Retail Park in Telford had eager shoppers waiting outside the store at 7am this morning, hoping to snap up a bargain.

Black Friday is the name given to the last Friday in November when shops offer crazy discounts to entice the public to part with their cash.

Consumer organisations have warned people to check that bargains are genuine and stores haven't ramped up the price in the run up to today, only to drop it by some humongous amount.

  • What they dont tell you is the month before they increase the prices so that when black friday comes along you just paying what you would have been paying in the first place

  • You realise that the stuff was cheapest in October? Trading laws state that an item must be at a higher price for 28 days before going on offer and to get to that higher price they need to be of an even lower price for 28 days. That makes october the cheapest month.

  • Pro Tip: Beat Curry’s prices by shopping literally ANWHERE ELSE.
