Another weekend of grumpy shoppers
The broken ticket machine at the car park between TGI Fridays and Asda is slowing down the process of leaving the shopping centre and frustrating shoppers.
A number of shoppers have taken to social media to vent their annoyance.
S Eggleton Esq complained the queues were 'pushing people to the next payment band'.
L Vidor Esq suggested that the centre 'upgraded to pay at the barrier on exit'.
The shopping centre has recently seen a number of new store & cafe openings including Superdry, Planet Donut, Jamaica Blue, Coffee#1 and a number of stores relocate to the new Fashion Quarter.
Telford Shopping Centre is the 24th largest mall in the UK, dwarfing anything Shrewsbury has to offer.

I’m glad I have a motorbike so I don’t need to pay for a ticket hahaha
I’m just glad I have very little reason to go into Telford town centre – I went twice during December and that was at least twice too many.
I’d like to spend 2020 not going there at all.
I like the little dig at Shrewbury at the end. You should do more of those…

Should of just opened the barrier
Only one ticket machine working at Southwater multi-storey as well.
I saw the que and walked to the one by McDonald’s which was free then walked back took about 5 mins
Is there no online parking ,
Do u not realise u can pay as you leave now? Well u can in the multi storey car park. Was the same there last week
They just opened the barriers yesterday so we got free parking!

They just need more pay ticket machines around the car park so it’s closer to ppls cars x
I avoid the Town Centre and will use local shops.

Yep we got caught and it took me onto the £4 price band. Wansn’t happy. There has never been enough machines and its completely ridiculous having just 2 working machines over the Xmas period
Not only was the pay machine out of order, so was a barrier on exiting!
