Two Carphone Warehouse stores in Telford to close
Dixons are consolidating their phone sales operation to online and large Currys PC World stores only, the retailer announced last night.
Telford has two stores affected, one inside the Shopping Centre and stand alone one on Forge Retail Park.
Nationally, these changes will see over 500 stores close and close to 3000 redundancies.
In March 2019, the phone retailer was fined £29m for mis-selling it's Geek Squad phone cover.
The Carphone Warehouse inside the Currys PC World on Forge Retail Park is expected to remain open.
