It's Wrekin packed

It's Wrekin packed

Thinking of a stroll up the Wrekin? You're not alone.

Steve Pitchford took this photo today of the road near the foot of the Wrekin showing cars parked both sides.

If you are thinking of walking up the Wrekin or it's smaller sister, the Ercall, try parking in Wellington Centre and walking up Wrekin Road.

Which 'off the beaten track' places have you been walking around in Telford?

It makes me sad to see such a lot of people who have no regard for others. Stay away from idiots who can’t seem to take this situation seriously.

Saddened but not surprised by all the litter dropped on the hill. What the fuck is wrong with people? no excuse for this behaviour.

Not forgetting people go places independently and usually aren’t colluding to turn up in mass. If a place proves popular it’s by chance not stupidity. Also most have effectively been in quarantine for 8 weeks so have little chance of spreading anything, especially in the open air. Get out and enjoy the Wrekin folks.

Yes you’re allowed to parks and public spaces again, but if you arrive and its very busy, just go somewhere else. Its really not that difficult.

You arrive, you see all the cars, you carry on driving and dont join the hoards. Why would you park and get out of the car when it is that busy?
