Oakengates gets into the VE Day Spirit

Even though many of the shops are closed due to the Covid 19 outbreak, Oakengates Chamber of Trade Members are doing their best to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day.

The local traders who can be contacted have been decorating their Shop Windows with flags & bunting.

Oakengates Chamber of Trade told Telford Live "Hopefully it gives people hope that this terrible time will be over in the near future and even though we are on lockdown us traders are so proud of our little town and support all our armed forces."
