Telford battered by storm

Telford battered by storm

High winds and heavy rain have caused power cuts and trees to fall across Telford this evening.

Over 800 homes were without power and trees have blocked roads in The Rock and Allscott.

This tree has fallen near the Plough Inn and the darkness makes the trees very difficult to see. Emergency services are on their way to clear the road.

Who’s had a new trampoline this evening?

So The Humbers has seen two power cuts already so far. This wind is horrendous, feels like the roof of my house may blow off and I very much doubt that I will have any bins in the back garden come tomorrow. Stay safe people and stay indoors especially with the falling trees.
