Sainsburys payment systems working again
The grocery giant had been experiencing problems processing payments across the UK today, but have just announced that all systems are back up and running.
Sainsburys said on X, “We can confirm that contactless payments are now back up and running in all our stores, alongside all other forms of payment.
“Our Groceries Online ordering system is working as normal and customers can place an order for delivery anytime from tomorrow.”
One shopper told Telford Live! that there were lots of abandoned trolleys full of groceries at the tills as cashiers were only able to take cash payments.
